NAD+

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme in every cell that carries electrons in energy production and is used by enzymes that repair DNA.

What it means

NAD+ levels are reported to fall with age. Precursors such as nicotinamide riboside and nicotinamide mononucleotide raise NAD+ in people, but whether that slows aging is not established.

Some clinics sell NAD+ infusions. Human evidence that they slow aging or improve skin is limited.
