Research and data
What is the VH-NCR ranking?
The VH-NCR (Nutrient-to-Calorie Ratio) system scores 1,705 foods from 1 to 100 by the nutrition they deliver per realistic calorie, using public-domain USDA FoodData Central data. Explore the VH-NCR rankings.
What are AGEs in food?
Advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) form when sugars bond to proteins and fats, mostly during dry, high-heat cooking. Our AGE food rankings list 490 foods measured in the Mount Sinai food analysis.
What is the Peptide Encyclopedia?
A searchable guide to skincare peptides. Each entry grades the studies behind the peptide and flags any work the maker ran or wrote itself. Search the Peptide Encyclopedia.
Do you cover stem cell treatments?
Yes. Our stem cell cost guide maps published prices by body part, beside what clinics claim and what the evidence shows. None is approved for anti-aging.
Do you review health devices?
Yes. Our device reviews cover advanced health devices for brain, eye and pain relief, with what the trials show and each device’s regulatory status.
Can I download the data?
Yes. Both datasets are free to download as CSV files: the VH-NCR rankings and the AGE food list.
Is this medical advice?
No. Our books, ingredient pages and food rankings are general education. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or skincare.
